Vinted Users Express Displeasure About Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its size classifications for women's and children's clothes without notifying every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to examine their items and update the measurements by hand if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Changes
Before the change, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, located in England, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
